Hey, I’m Lora!

I’m a military veteran, educator, and coffee lover turned prepper.

I started my preparedness lifestyle a little over five years ago as a way to prepare for short-term power outages and other local emergencies. It started out innocently enough!

But like with anything, I sort of jumped right in. By the time COVID-19 was a reality, and store shelves were empty, my family already had enough food and household supplies stored to last a month or so, which gave us some level of comfort.

Since then we’ve gone all-in on the “crazy-prepper” adventure, and now I want to help you feel more confident and secure.
